Loloff AM -01 Adequacy Letter <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />May 19, 2015 <br />6.4 Specific Exhibit Requirements — Regular 112 Operations <br />The following items must be addressed by the Applicant in order to satisfy the requirements of <br />C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et seg. and the Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board: <br />6.4.3 Exhibit C - Pre -Mining and Mining Plan Maps of Affected Land <br />4. Please update Exhibit C to indicate the name and location of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil <br />and gas wells and lines, and power and communication lines on the area of affected land <br />and within two hundred (200) feet of all boundaries of such area. <br />5. Please update Exhibit C to show the owner's name, type of structures, and location of all <br />significant, valuable, and permanent man-made structures contained on the area of <br />affected land and within two hundred (200) feet of the affected land. <br />6.4.4 Exhibit D - Mining Plan <br />6. The Loloff Mine is currently approved for 55.17 total acres with 42.7 affected acres. The <br />amendment application states the expansion of the existing reclamation boundary will <br />include approximately 5 acres of additional mining area. Additionally, the application states <br />the Area 2 expansion is approximately 0.25 acres. Please provide the revised total affected <br />acreage for the site and update the Mine Plan as required. <br />7. The Applicant states it is the owner's intent to have a slurry wall installed as part of the final <br />reclamation plan. Please clarify when the Applicant anticipates installing the slurry wall. <br />6.4.5 Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />8. The Applicant states the schedule for the completion of the Reclamation Plan is estimated <br />to begin within the next 18 months. Please provide an estimate of the periods of time <br />which will be required for the various stages of reclamation. Please describe the size and <br />location of each stage and outline the sequence in which each stage of reclamation will be <br />completed. <br />9. The approved Reclamation Plan states 6 to 12 inches of topsoil will be replaced on areas in <br />the 100 year flood plain and to a depth of 18 to 24 inches outside of the flood plain. Please <br />confirm the amendment application does not propose a change in the depth of topsoil <br />replacement and verify adequate topsoil is stockpiled on site for reclamation. <br />10. Per Rule 6.4.5(2)(f), please state of the Applicant intends to use fertilization as part of the <br />Reclamation Plan. Please provide the fertilization types, mixtures, quantities and time of <br />application if used in the Reclamation Plan. <br />
