The decision date for this Technical Revision is <br />May 21, 2015. The Division has reviewed the Technical Revision Application and has the <br />following comments: <br />Please indicate if either of the ponds which will receive water from the sluice are lined. If the <br />ponds are not lined, then clarify if there is a hydrologic connection between the ponds the <br />Middle Fork of the South Platte River. Have either of the ponds been excavated to determine <br />the depth of fines lining the pond bottom? Have static water tests been performed to <br />determine if water is seeping from the ponds? <br />2. Please specify how much Hyperfloc AE -582 will be stored at the mine at any given time. <br />3. Please specify where the Hyperfloc AE -852 will be stored at the mine site. <br />4. Please provide a description of how water is conveyed from the sluice tails pond to the lower <br />pond. <br />5. Please specify how the operator will handle any spills of the flocculent. <br />6. The permit file indicates that the ponds on site are spring fed. Please specify if groundwater <br />currently flows into the sluice tails pond or the lower pond.
