EXHIBIT A <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION & LOCATION MAP <br />(l)The Sara Rose group of unpatented mining claims lie at approximately 12,306ft in elevation and are located <br />in the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 28, Township 8 South, Range 78 West in Park County, Colorado on National <br />Forest Service lands approximately six miles northwest of the town of Alma. <br />The primary underground access is located at UTM NAD83, Zone 13, E403780, N4352805 as displayed on the <br />attached map. <br />(2)&(3) Location Maps: See Exhibit E, Appendix 1 <br />9 <br />SITE DESCRIPTION <br />(a) N/A —Neither soil nor vegetation exist on the proposed site. Therefore, anything related to these items is not - <br />applicable. <br />(b) An pre -1950's shack exists on the property and is owned by the USFSBLM. They have requested every effort <br />be made to preserve this structure. The approximate location of the small shack is displayed on a map in <br />Exhibit E, Appendix H. <br />(c) The only water resources nearby are Kite Lake located approximately 1 mile NNW of the claims and Buckskin <br />Creek which is located approximately 2,000 ft SW of the proposed activity. Local watershed permits have <br />already been obtained and are attached as Appendix IV hereto. <br />(d) N/A <br />EXHIBIT C <br />MINING PLAN <br />(1) The Sara Rose group of unpatented mining claim is located in the SEI/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 28, <br />Township 8 South, Range 78 West on National Forest Service lands approximately six miles northwest of Alma, <br />Colorado, at approximately 12,300 feet in elevation. <br />The owner and operator of the Sara Rose group of unpatented mining claim has proposed continued prospecting <br />and exploration in the Red Amphitheater drainage of Mosquito gulch in the South Park Ranger District. The <br />purpose of this activity is to explore for locatable rhodochrosite and associated minerals. <br />The operator of the Sara Rose mine is proposing to explore and develop two existing underground portals on the <br />claim. The operator will access the claim from County Road 8 onto an existing road which is approximately <br />2,600 feet in length and 10-12 feet wide. The operator plans to use a track hoe for 120 days during the year to <br />maintain the access road and also for waste rock dump maintenance. <br />The operator plans to use (1) four wheel drive vehicle and (3) all -terrain vehicles for travel on the access road. A <br />locked gate at the entrance of this access road will discourage unauthorized motorized traffic in addition to a <br />written posting. <br />
