CA <br />JSSFIRE AGGREGRATE <br />SERVICES, LLC <br />EXHIBIT E <br />immediately moved to final locations for final reclamation. Normal municipal solid waste generated <br />during operations will be hauled off -site for disposal and will not be buried or burned on -site. There <br />may be some use of various wastes including wood waste, sawdust, bark and similar materials for <br />reclamation to provide mulches, sediment control, and other purposes. Clean construction debris, such <br />as materials from clearing and grubbing, asphaltic cement, concrete rubble, Portland cement concrete <br />rubble, and excavated soil and rock may be used for backfill on -site for reclamation and road <br />maintenance —See "Notice of Other Backfill" below. <br />Holes <br />There will be no auger holes, excavations, or shafts left open on the property. <br />Maximum Slopes <br />For most areas on the perimeter of the mined areas slopes of 1V:2H or less as proposed are compatible <br />with surrounding conditions and land use. In some locations, final slopes may be steeper to match <br />adjacent hillside and cliff slopes. Areas with slopes steeper than 1V:2H will be reviewed by an engineer <br />for stability and stabilization, such as but not limited to, grouting, placement of sandbags, block walls, <br />such as Keystone TM or similar, wire mesh, or other retaining structures as needed. <br />Notice of Other Backfill <br />The Applicant will notify the Division prior to each event requiring import of other "clean" fill material or <br />backfill to the site. The Notice shall include all the information required per the Division's Construction <br />Materials Rule 3.1.5(9). <br />Use of clean construction debris such as soil, subsoil, waste rock, overburden, clean Portland or <br />asphaltic cement, and concrete rubble for backfill to be covered by soil is proposed. No acid bearing <br />materials, tailings or other toxic or potentially toxic materials shall be used. When in doubt, standard <br />characterization methods shall be used to evaluate the suitability of such materials for use on site. <br />Records of off -site sources of backfill material shall be maintained for the life of the operation in <br />accordance with DRMS requirements, including notarized certification statements, as needed. <br />Prevention of Unauthorized Release of Pollutants to Surface Water <br />The Applicant will handle chemicals, equipment, materials, and mined material to be disposed of off -site <br />in a way to prevent unauthorized release of pollutants to surface water. <br />Prevention of Unauthorized Release of Pollutants to Groundwater <br />The Applicant will handle chemicals equipment material mined handled or disposed off -site, in a way to <br />prevent unauthorized release of pollutants to groundwater. <br />Prepared byTegre Corp. <br />1199 Main Ave., Suite 101 <br />Durango, CO 81301 <br />(970) 828 -1811 <br />t I � I (' <br />
