King Coal Mine (C- 1981 -035) <br />MT -07 Response <br />3. King I and King II Maps 003 (Coal Ownership) were last updated in 2007 and 2006. Please <br />review the information represented on these maps for accuracy, and update as necessary. <br />Also, while addresses for Huntington Ranches LLC., the State of Colorado and Bureau of <br />Land Management are provided on Maps 002, and these entities also appear to own coal, <br />the Division could not locate addresses for the Four Daughters Coal Company and Tipotsch, <br />Richard et. al., both of which appear to own coal within the King I permit area that either <br />has been mined or will be mined. Please update Maps 003 to give names and addresses for <br />all coal owners. (If preferred, as suggested above, this information can be included solely <br />in text Sections 2.03.4, as long as the maps include a note directing the reader to the <br />section.) <br />Maps King 1 -003 and King II -003 have been updated to reflect current coal ownership within <br />and contiguous to the permit area. These maps now include statements directing the <br />reader to permit Sections 2.03.4 for name as addresses of coal owners within and <br />contiguous to the permit area. An address has been provided in Section 2.03.4 for Four <br />Daughters Coal Company. Richard Tipotsch is now deceased and GCC Energy has been <br />unable to locate contact information for the heirs to that lease. The lease was <br />relinquished by GCC Energy in 2010. <br />4. Rule 2.03.4(9) requires a statement of all lands, interests in lands, options, or pending bids <br />on interests held or made by the applicant for lands which are contiguous to the area <br />covered by the permit. Please provide information regarding any modification that is being <br />sought for existing Lease COC- 63920. (Information required by this paragraph may be <br />considered confidential for purposes of these rules if the requirements of Rule 2.07.5 are <br />met.) <br />A modification of BLM Coal Lease COC -62920 was applied for on December 28, 2010 and is <br />currently under review by the BLM. A description of this lease modification has been <br />provided as requested in King I: Section 2.03.4 page 5, and King II: Section 2.03.4 page 5. <br />2.03.5 Compliance Information <br />1. For the violation (CV- 2012 -003) listed in Sections 2.03.5 of the permit, Rule 2.03.5(3)(a) <br />requires the following information to be provided: <br />a. the MSHA number and the name of the person to whom the violation notice was <br />issued. Please update both sections of the permit with this information. <br />The MSHA number for the mine and the name of the person the violation was issued to <br />have been provided as requested in King I: Section 2.03.5 page 1, and King II: Section <br />2.03.5 page 1. <br />b.
