Further <br />remediation required. <br />UG #6481 — Excavated approximately 10' to competent rock; back filled. Remediated. <br />UG #6530 — Excavated approximately 9' into competent rock; backfilled. Remediated. <br />UG #6538 — Confirmatory drilling: 43 borings; — 2,150LF. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6576 — JD 670 excavator continued preparing working for geogrid — removal of shot rock. <br />Further remediation required. <br />UG #6639 — 10 borings; --500LF. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6673 — Cat 330 and Cat 345 excavators chase adit — 100LF. Further remediation requires. <br />UG #6682 — Excavated approximately 12' into competent rock; backfilled. Remediated. <br />UG #6683 — Excavated approximately 10' into competent rock, backfilled. Remediated. <br />II) Storm Water Management <br />Best Management Practices (BMPs) continued to be performed. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />1) Field Activities: <br />The following activities were observed. The grading of Phase 1 and Phase 2 slopes, the placement and <br />compaction of the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Structural Fill materials, the placement of SLF material on the <br />Phase 1 slopes, the placement of DCF material on the Phase 1 slopes, the excavation of the Phase 1 <br />Leak Detection trench, the welding /installation of the small water truck water line, the installation of the <br />ADR2 fire -water line, the pumping of water from the LVSCS riser pipes, the cleaning of the Phase 1 <br />LLDPE liner, repairs to the Phase 1 LLDPE liner, grading of the ADR2 pad, and the remediation of the <br />Underground Workings. <br />11) Laboratory Activities: <br />Atterberg limits, moisture, laboratory compaction, and sieve analysis laboratory testing continued. The <br />following samples were collected: 1 SLF -5 -R, SLF- 178 -C, and SLF- 179 -C. <br />General Proiect Items <br />Meetings and Discussions: <br />The Weekly Contractor Meeting was held April 15, 2015 (Amec Foster Wheeler, CC &V, Ames) <br />Ames daily safety meetings <br />Amec Foster Wheeler daily safety meetings <br />Summary of Concerns: None. <br />CC &V: Daily updates, reporting, and scheduling were some of the tasks occurring between CC &V <br />Projects, Amec Foster Wheeler, and Ames. <br />
