The decision date for TR -03 is May 28, 2015. The
Division has reviewed TR -03 and has the following comments and questions:
1) It is the Division's understanding that the scrappers will cross Nome Street through the
portion of the permit boundary that adjoins the Brannan Sand and Gravel Company's Pit
29 (DRMS File No. M- 1980 -183). Please make sure the permit boundary approved
under Permit Amendment No. 6 is clearly and properly delineated on site.
2) Will crossing Nome St with scrappers require any form of permitting from Adams
County or any other government agency?
3) How will running scrappers across Nome St affect the roadway?
4) Will improvements be made to Nome St to facility the proposed activity?
5) How will scrappers place the inert fill into the exposed groundwater pond?
This concludes the Division's preliminary adequacy review of TR -03. Please remember that the
decision date for TR -03 is May 28, 2015. As previously mentioned, if you are unable to provide
satisfactory responses to any inadequacies prior to this date, it will be your responsibility to request an
extension of time to allow for continued review of this Technical Revision. If there are still
unresolved issues when the decision date arrives and no extension has been requested, TR -03 will be
denied.
%e co,
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http: / /mining.state.co.us I *
John W.
