PUBLIC NOTICE <br />GCC Energy, LLC, 6473 County Road 120, Hesperus, Colorado, 81326, (970) 385 -4528, has submitted a <br />complete application for a technical revision (TR -24) to a valid existing permit for the King Coal Mine (Permit <br />C -81 -035) with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety. The purpose of the revision is to <br />respond to comments from the Division as part of Midterm Permit Review No. 7 (MT -07). <br />The entire permit area is described as follows: <br />Township 34 North, Ranee 11 West, N.M.P.M. <br />Sec. 5: SW /4, E /2SE /4, Portions of W /2SE /4, Portions of S /2NE /4, Portions of NW /4 <br />Sec. 6: N /2, N /2SW /4, E /2SE /4, Portions of W /2SE /4 <br />Sec. 7: Portions of NE /4 <br />Sec. 8: N /2NW /4, Portions of S /2NW /4, Portions of N /2NE /4 <br />Townshin 35 North. The surface of the affected area is owned by the State of Colorado, <br />Huntington Ranches, Crawford Ranches, BLM, GCC Energy, Ute Mountain Tribe, Thomas & Patricia <br />Compton, Jack Wiltse, and Blast & Cast, Inc. The proposed land use at the completion of mining is <br />rangeland. <br />A copy of the application is available for public review at the La Plata County Clerk and Recorder's Office, 98 <br />Everett St., Suite C, Durango, CO, and at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety, 1313 <br />Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, phone (303) 866 -3567.
