Jason Musick -6- April 27, 2015
eastward to reflect the natural topography for a distance beyond the limits
of the gob.
BRL: Please see revised Figure 1 with corrected section E -E'.
20. DRMS: Section E -E' depicts the East Diversion Ditch as being
constructed on top of the Gob surface. This practice does not conform to
Rules 4.09.2(7) and 4.10.3(2), which require that all surface drainage
from the area above the coal mine waste bank be diverted. Please
revise the design for Gob Pile #2 to comply with this
requirement.
BRL: Section E -E' erroneously depicted the East Diversion ditch as being
constructed in the gob. The section has been corrected. Please see revised
Figure 1.
Additional Changes: Maps 15 -1 and 21 -1 have been updated with the
concrete fenders at the refuse bin as approved under MR -170.
Since the borrow area configuration has been changed, please see revised
Maps 15 -3 and 20.
Due to the topography update associated with the construction of the upper
East diversion Ditch, the drainage configuration changed for Ditches F -1, 4,
West Diversion Ditch #2 and the East Diversion ditch.
