Stover & Associates <br />2352 N. 7" St. Ste B <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br />Re: Fruita Loadout (Permit No. C- 2010 -088) <br />Technical Revision 3 (TR -3) <br />Second Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Jim Stover: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has received the McClane <br />Canyon Mining, LLC (MCM) response to the Division's preliminary adequacy question for <br />Technical Revision 3 of the Fruita Loadout. After reviewing MCM's responses, the Division has the <br />following comment: <br />1. After reviewing the construction costs for the proposed incremental bonding for each <br />construction activity, it appears to the Division that there have been cost amount input errors <br />in the provided cost breakdowns. After adding all the costs for each activity, the total sum of <br />the costs prior to indirect costs is low by the amount of $269.45. The difference most <br />notably comes from Task No. 3 and No. 21. The Division has attached a spreadsheet <br />outlining each task and cost differences.
