Box 483 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />RE: Bowie No. 1 Mine (Permit No. C- 1981 -038) <br />2011 Annual Hydrology, Mine Inflow and Subsidence Report Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear, <br />The Division has completed its review of the above referenced reports received on 13 April 2012. The <br />Division finds the 2011 Annual reports in compliance with the requirement to submit the above referenced <br />reports yearly. The Division has the following comments: <br />2011 Annual HVdroloGjy Report <br />The report addresses all of the requirements of Rules 4.05.13(1), (2), (3), and (4) and the approved <br />permit application package. Please see Table 1 below for information. <br />Annual Mine Inflow Report <br />The report included all required information per Rule 4.05.13 and the approved permit application <br />package. Inflows were not observed or reported due to the sealing of the mine portals; the Division has <br />no questions or concerns. <br />Semi - Annual Subsidence Monitoring Reports <br />The report included all of the information as required by Rule 2.05.6(6) and the permit application <br />package. Monitoring is limited to seven survey points located along the Pitkin Mesa pipeline. Minimal <br />movement was reported at all points. <br />If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
