Topsoil recovery involves removal of topsoil r'ersarrces necessary to meet <br />~, reclanation objectives. Tractor scrapers aryl/ar wheel loaders, trucks and <br />tracked dozers are utilized to remove, tzanspart and place recovered topsoil <br />either m rergaded areas ar in t~Qorary stockpiles. <br />A detailed discussion of topsoil removal and storage practices is prcesented <br />later in this section under the subtitle '"ibpsoil Handling".
