(TMI) in response to <br />the Division's adequacy comment identified in the Adequacy Review No. 5 letter dated November 20, <br />2014. <br />The Division's November 20, 2014 adequacy comment requested: all of the documents associated with the <br />"Guideline for the Design and Number of Dams and Dozer Basins for Erosional Control of Reclaimed Lands <br />for Bond Release Under a Variety of Channel Conditions Using SEDCAD Modeling" be submitted as a part of <br />the PAP; wording to commit to construct the post mine drainages in accordance with the typical designs; <br />additional figures for all of the curve numbers to be used by TMI to determine the number of checkdams <br />to be installed and additional permit text to discuss what criteria will be used to select a given curve <br />number; additional slope figures to depict the various curve numbers to be used to ascertain the number <br />of check dams to be installed; additional permit text, figures, tables, etc to demonstrate how it will be <br />determined what the number of check dams will be if dozer basins will be used as a substitute; additional <br />permit text, tables and /or figures to describe how Trapper will determine the number of dozer basins to <br />be installed within a portion of reclaimed drainage; and language to section 4.8.1.3 of the permit <br />committing to the submittal of documentation that reclaimed drainage channels have been constructed <br />and stabilized in accordance with the plan outlined in the permit by submitting as -built designs with the <br />annual reclamation report. <br />Based on a review of the proposed permit pages 4 -183 through 4 -183o, and the proposed Appendix Q, <br />submitted in response to the Division's concerns, the Division has no additional concerns in terms of <br />compliance with Rule 4.08.1 based on the information provided. <br />OF'c <br />I F� p <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http: / /mining.state.co.us <br />John W.
