Compliance With Mine Plan <br />N - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />N - Other <br />N - Special Categories Of Mining <br />R - Processing Waste <br />R - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a partial inspection of the Foidel Creek Mine, DRMS Permit No. C- 1982 -056, operated by Twentymile <br />Coal Company, LLC (TC). I, Jared Ebert of the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (Division) <br />conducted the inspection. Mr. Brian Watterson with TC accompanied me during the inspection. The weather was <br />cloudy, cold and windy at the time of the inspection. There were a number of maintenance items noted during the <br />last complete inspection. Many of these items remain outstanding; however, Mr. Watterson indicated that TC has <br />hired a contractor to conduct site maintenance items over the next several weeks and that they should be <br />completed by early May. <br />EXPLOSIVES — Rule 4.08 <br />Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />The explosives storage area was observed. The ditch was been cleaned out adjacent to the explosive storage <br />bunkers. <br />Previously noted maintenance items: <br />-The drainage ditch leading to Pond T is damaged and the water is short circuiting to the pond. This ditch will <br />need to be repaired. <br />-A large metal tube has rolled down from the material storage area into the drainage above Pond T.
