Box 1309
Rancho Santa Fe, California 82067
RE: First Quarter 2015 Water Sample Results for Lucky Strike Mountain Permit No M- 1982 -020
Dear Mr. Smithdorf:
Attached are first quarter 2015 groundwater sampling results as required by the Colorado Division of
Reclamation and Mining Safety (DRMS). The two samples were collected on March 20, 2015. Sample
A3.20.15 was collected from the 125 -foot level of the mine which corresponded, at the time of sampling,
to the top of the groundwater surface, and Sample B3.20.15 was collected from the discharge point of
the Lucky Strike Mill Spring.
The samples were both acquired using Braun's standard sampling practice, and transported to the
laboratory using standard transport, and chain of custody procedures. The testing was performed by
Accutest Laboratories in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The water represented by both samples met Colorado
State water standards this quarter.
Sincerely,
BRAUN ENVIRONMENTAL, INC.
C. A. Braun, P.E.
enc.
CAB /rl
