Box 19
Alma, CO 80420
RE: Hock Hocking Mine; DRMS File No. P- 2014 -019; Notice of Discharge Permit
Dear Mr. Misantoni,
On March 24, 2015, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment — Water
Quality Control Division (WQCD) sent notice to the Division regarding a determination on the
need for a discharge permit for the Hock Hocking Mine. The notice (copy enclosed) indicates the
proposed prospecting activities associated with the NOI application for the Hock Hocking Mine
will require a discharge permit. Therefore, in order to proceed with the proposed prospecting
activities, the Prospector will need to obtain a discharge permit from the WQCD.
The Prospector has indicated to the Division that WQCD's determination on the need for a
discharge permit may result in a modification to the NOI currently under review or withdrawal
of the NOI application. Please inform the Division if you wish to proceed with review of the NOI
no later than April 24, 2015. If the Division has not received a request for withdrawal of the
application or a request to extend the review time frame by the deadline, the NOI application
may be terminated.
If you have any questions, you may contact me at (303)866 -3567 x8116.
Sin erely,
a- I —
Michael A.
