3. North Platform Backfill <br />The North Platform area located above the water tunnel will be backfilled with screened topsoil <br />in final reclamation. The final slope of this screened material will be no steeper than 3H:1 V. <br />Based on tests conducted for the Colorado Dept. of Transportation, this screened topsoil material <br />is a Clayey Sandy Gravel with a maximum dry density of 136.9 lbs /ft3. Additionally, based on <br />this and the optimal moisture content of 8.2 %, the unified classification we will use for analysis <br />is clayey gravels (GC).
