March 30, 2015 C- 1996 - 083 /Bowie No. 2 Mine JDM <br />Gob Pile 93 <br />Dried refuse material was in the process of compaction at the time of the inspection. One excavator was working <br />gob material on the east side drying area of the pile. One compactor was observed toward the west end of the <br />wind -rowed area of the pile on what appeared to be compacted refuse. Based on the photographs, there were no <br />signs of erosion or instability of the pile. <br />Gob Pile #4 <br />Reclamation of the west side of Gob Pile #4 is completed. Cover material is placed on the three lower benches <br />that have been backfilled and graded to final configuration. The upper bench remains open for additional refuse <br />placement. Topsoil has been placed and erosion control mat is in place. The erosion control fabric on the far west <br />end of the lower bench has become detached, although there were no signs of erosion or instability of the area or <br />anywhere on the reclaimed pile. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 12 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Page 3 of 7 <br />
