TRAPPER MINING INC.
March 26, 2015
Ms. Tabetha N. Lynch
Environmental Protection Specialist RECEIVED
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 MAR 3 0 2015
Denver, CO 80203
Division of Reclamation,
Dear Ms. Lynch: Mining & Safety
RE: Semi - annual Geotechnical Monitoring Report — March 2015
Trapper began submitting semi - annual monitoring reports to the Division, beginning March 2008 with the last
report completed on September 25, 2014. Trapper has been monitoring the 2006 landslide area for movement
through the use of a continuous monitoring system.
Section 3.3.3 of Trapper's permit details the initial configuration of the monitoring system. Currently, there are
three sites (site 8, site 9 and site 10) that are monitoring the area. A map has been attached showing the
location of these sites
Displacement graphs for all three sites covering the time period of September 24, 2014 through March 25, 2015
are attached. There are a few spikes in these graphs. The system has a filter that is supposed to remove
these spikes but some corrupted data still passed through. All three sites have shown minimal amount of
movement.
An inclinometer graph for site 8 has been attached. There is a gap where data was not recorded from
approximately January 28, 2015 through March 1, 2015. The server that supports the software associated with
the inclinometer sensors experienced several problems. The server was unable to retrieve data from the
sensors. These problems have been resolved. This graph has shown minimal amount of movement.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Tonia Perkins, P.
