Blue Valley Ranch <br />Gravel Deposits Study <br />Job No. 114 342A <br />August 26, 2414 <br />Table 1 <br />Soil Profile Existing Borrow Pit <br />0 to 1.5 ft Loess: Clay loam, light brown with an A/Bt/Bk pedogenetic soil profile. <br />1.5 to 10 ft River Alluvium Unit Qal: Gravel in a loamy sand to sand matrix, grayish - <br />brown. Coarse rocks (> No. 10 sieve): 60 %; gravel -55 %, cobbles -5 %. <br />Maximum cobble size: 6 -inch. <br />10 to 20 ft. River Alluvium Unit Qa2: Gravel, cobbles and boulders in a loamy sand to sand <br />matrix, grayish- brown. Coarse rocks (> No. 10 sieved 60 %; gravel -25 %, <br />cobbles -25 %, boulders -10 %. Maximum boulder size: 3 -foot. <br />> 20 ft.
