Agency or Department Name: <br />Department of Transportation <br />Department or Agency Number: AAA <br />Contract Routing Number: <br />CONSTRUCTION PROJECT CONTRACT' <br />THIS CONTRACT, made this j day of _�� 1-' , by and between the <br />State of Colorado for the use and benefit of the Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as "the State" or <br />"the Department ", and Castle Rock Construction Company of Colorado, LLC, hereinafter referred to as "the <br />Contractor ". <br />' To be executed in triplicate, one copy for CDOT, one for the Contractor and one for the State Controller. <br />RECITALS <br />1. Authority exists in the Law and Funds have been budgeted, appropriated and otherwise made available and a <br />sufficient unconunitted balance thereof remains available for encumbering and subsequent payment of this <br />Contract under Encumbrance Number in Fund Number Funds Center R4290 -01.0, <br />Functional Area 3300, GL Account <br />2. Required approval, clearance and coordination have been accomplished from and with appropriate agencies. <br />3. Pursuant to section 24 -92 -103, CRS, the State issued an Invitation For Bids for a Transportation Construction <br />Project, and the Contractor's bid was selected in accordance with State law as a result of the advertisement for <br />Colorado Project Number IM 0705- 079, 19029. <br />THE PARTIES THEREFORE AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Scope of Work <br />The Contractor shall, in a good and workmanlike manner at his own cost and expense, and strictly in accordance with <br />this Contract, furnish all materials and do all work not herein specifically excepted, necessary or incidental to the <br />complete construction of Colorado Project No IM 0705 -079 consisting of CONCRETE OVERLAY AND BRIDGE <br />REHABILITATION, located on I -70 at SEIBERT -EAST in Kit Carson County(ies) in the State of Colorado. The <br />work is described in the plans and specifications for the project described in Section 3. <br />Section 2. Order of Precedence <br />In the event of conflicts or inconsistencies between this Contract and its exhibits or attachments, such conflicts or <br />inconsistencies shall be resolved by reference to the documents in the following order of priority: <br />1. The Colorado Special Provisions contained in Section 24 of this Contract <br />2. Special Provisions for this project <br />a. Project Special Provisions <br />b. Standard Special Provisions <br />3. The Plans <br />a. Detailed Plans <br />b. Standard Plans <br />Calculated dimensions will govern over scaled dimensions. <br />4. Supplemental Specifications <br />5.
