March 16, 2015 C- 1981- 012/New Elk Mine LDS <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and <br />(6)/4.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Many of the roads around the mine had been graded following the snow. Roads were generally in good <br />condition, although the light use road beside the RDA conveyor was not easily passable. <br />OFFSITE SUPPORT FACILIITES - Rule 4.04,4.28: <br />The Jansen loadout was inspected. No further disturbance was noted. A total of 8 security cameras were in <br />use at the site, and a barricade had been erected at the eastern end, using concrete barriers and thick steel cable. <br />There had been no further problems with intruders or vandals.
