If you expect mining activity may be intermittent in the early <br />years of an operation, then it is advisable to insert in your permit application, now, a statement to that <br />effect. This eliminates the need for a future Technical Revision. <br />o If mining activity does not occur for a one -year period at anytime, then you will need to submit a Notice <br />of Temporary Cessation (TC). <br />• If mining concludes, the Operator will have 5 years to reclaim the site (Rule 3.1.3 states that reclamation shall be <br />carried to competition within 5 years from the date the Operator informs the Division that mining is complete). <br />The Division's 2013 PDF mailer regarding IS and TC has been attached to this report, as well as the TC request form, for <br />the Applicant reference. <br />A Google Earth aerial image (dated 9/24/11) has been attached for reference.
