Stoner Engineering Surveying
Engineering; Testing & Surveying
The drainage ditches were found to be in generally good condition and clean of debris. The
western "clean-water" ditch has been completely protected with a geo-textile fabric overlain
with river rock (see Pic. 3). All ditches should be inspected and repaired as necessary, especially
after storm events.
The culvert pipes on the site were in good condition overall. The exception to this was the
double culvert for the "clean-water" under the main drive. These culverts were somewhat
clogged with sediment in on the downstream end (see Pic. 4). This material appears to be from
material stockpiled in the area for construction of the improvements to the ditches and pipe
outlets for the water quality pond. This material should be removed to ensure that runoff can
pass under the road section as accounted for in the drainage plan.
The area inlet near the scale building was in generally good condition but may require some
cleaning to ensure that it continues to function properly (see Pic. 5).
The drainage features for the King II site are functioning as designed and are being maintained
in accordance with the approved plans.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns in regards to the issues
discussed.
Sincerely,
Ryan M.
