<br />Snowcap Coal Company, P.O. Box
<br />1430, Palisade, CO, 81526, has sub-
<br />mitted a complete application for a
<br />technical revision (TR -65 to the Dlvi.
<br />slan of Reclamation, Mining and
<br />Safety for Its Roadside North and
<br />South Portals, mining permit No. C-
<br />1981-041. The proposed revision will
<br />approve the removal of a 12" culvert
<br />located at the North Decline area
<br />and replace the culvert with a de-
<br />algned rip rap ditch segment. This
<br />ditch segment is at the north end of
<br />the permanent East Diversion Ditch
<br />#2.
<br />The Roadside mines are located ap-
<br />pproximately three miles northeast of
<br />Pallsada, CO at the Interstate 70, Ca-
<br />mea Exit No.46. The permit area Is
<br />split east and west by the Colorado
<br />River and 1.70, and Is encompassed
<br />within the following lands:
<br />T10S, R98W., 6th P.M.: Sections 26,
<br />27, 28, 34, 35
<br />T11S. R98W., filh P.M.: Sections 1, 2,
<br />11,12,13
<br />T11S, R97W., 5th P.M,: Section 7
<br />The location of these sections Is
<br />contained within the U.S. Geological
<br />Survey 7.6 minute Cameo and Pali-
<br />sade Quadrangle maps.

<br />Being duly swam, says that I am Legal Secretary of
<br />The Daily Sentinel, a daily newspaper, published and duly printed in
<br />The County of Mesa, State of Colorado; that said newspaper has a
<br />general circulation in said County and has been continuously and
<br />uninterruptedly published therein, during a period of at least
<br />fifty -two consecutive weeks next prior to the first publication
