6.4.7 EXHIBIT G — Water Information
(1) The proposed amendment to current mining operation at the Neal Pit is not
expected to adversely affect either surface or groundwater systems in the
immediate area.
(2) The nearest watercourse, an un -named irrigation ditch, is shown on Exhibit C,
but no impacts to that ditch are expected as a result of the proposed mining
activities.
(3) No water is required for the mining operations other than fugitive dust control.
That water will be trucked to the site by the Operator and used on an as- needed
basis to water roads and stockpiles to minimize fugitive dust from the site. No
water will be required for revegetation and reclamation since seeding will be
timed to use natural rainfall /snowfall seasons to irrigate the proposed NRCS
native seed mixture. It is estimated that 1000 gallons per working day will be
required to provide fugitive dust control.
(4) Not Applicable
(5) A Storm Water Management Plan has been developed for the site and is on file
at the Montrose County Engineering Department. Site will be managed as non -
discharging. SWMP implementation is not anticipated to be required at this time.
Neal Pit —Amended Permit
Exhibit G
