Exhibit C <br />Mining Plan <br />Blue Valley Pit <br />A. The Project will begin in January of 2015 and end in July of 2017. <br />B. There is an approximate 6" of topsoil to be stripped and <br />stockpiled as per Exhibit E. All topsoil piles will be temporarily <br />stabilized by seeding. <br />C. There is an approximate 1' -3' of overburden to be stockpiled and <br />placed on slopes before topsoiling. <br />D. The area mined will be an approximate 15' -30' in depth. <br />E. A portable crusher will be used to produce aggregate for the <br />CDOT project on Highway 9. <br />F. Excavated pit area for mining will be an approximate 30 acres. <br />Please refer to Exhibit C. <br />G. An access road entrance as shown on Exhibit A. <br />H. Approximately 12,000 gallons of water per day will be hauled in to <br />the pit from the city of Kremmling. <br />I. It is not anticipated that ground water will be encountered. Please <br />see the attached Storm Water Prevention Plan for BMP locations. <br />J. Please see <br />K. It is not anticipate any refuse, acidic or toxic material will be <br />encountered. However if anything would be exposed mining <br />would cease in the area and the offensive material would be <br />disposed of properly per local, state, and federal regulations. <br />L. Slopes of 3:1 or flatter will be constructed to control erosion. <br />M.Material will be crushed to provide aggregate for base course, <br />concrete, embankment material, backfill /bedding and asphalt. <br />
