IVBLM Colorado, Royal Gorge Field Office
43 CFR 3809 Minerals Inspection /Site Visit
• The claim is surrounded by a fence. The fence in the North West corner is unsupported.
• There is a gas can that is seated inside a tore up tire just outside the gate on a berm.
• There is an area that needs to have a gentler slope. This area is west of the large trommel where there is a road
down to next bench.
• There was a smaller trommel sitting near the ponds. Also there was a high banker sitting between the two ponds.
• The concrete piping mentioned at the last inspection is still onsite and does not appear to be part of the operations.
• The scrap that was gathered before the last inspection is still on site with additional scrap elsewhere on the claim.
• Trailer and port-o -potty mentioned in previous inspections is still across the road from the gate.
• There appears to be some type of utility line coming out of the wall midway down on the eastern edge of the
claim. The wall under this line is being undercut.
• There are multiple oil spills behind, under, and in front of the dozer.
Photo Summary
 4
Here is the sign with the DRMS permit number and the claim name on it.
