DETAILED SITE INSPECTION OBSERVATIONS
Everything seems to be in compliance with the current plan of operations.
GENERAL COMPLIANCE
Good housekeeping.
No site development has occurred or is needed.
SITE DEVELOPMENT
The mine is currently in temporary cessation via CDRMS (approved January
13, 2012). The last activity reported was October of 2010. No calls for this
Ln
type of material have been received so there are no plans to pull out of TC
OPERATIONAL PHASE
in the near future. If no need is requested for this material by the time the
z
5year cessation is ending, Colorado Quarries will likely extend the cessation
g
and hold on to the site in case there is a future need for this material.
a
z
0
The site has revegetated itself with surrounding areas. Few weeds are
Q
RECLAMATION STATUS
noted and do not appear to be a problem.
(TOPSOIL, ROADS, ETC.)
g
U1
No problems with erosion or sedimentation are noted. Water seeps out of
fractures in the granite face. The sediment pond in the corner of the pit is
w
EROSION/ SEDIMENTATION
holding water. There does not appear to be any offsite drainage from the
Z
Z
working area.
No explosives are stored on site.
EXPLOSIVES
The highwalls are not marked, however access is across private land with a
locked gate. The mine is also not in operation. Therefore, this does not
SAFETY
appear to pose a threat to safety.
ENGINEERING/ GEOLOGIC &STABILITY
There does not appear to be any engineering or geologic stability issues
CONDITIONS
currently at this site.
'The DRMS sign was posted (really faded can only read part of it). There
OTHER LOCAL/ STATE/ FEDERAL REQ. &
does not seem to be any compliance issues with other state and federal
COMPLIANCE
requirements at this time.
