DETAILED SITE INSPECTION OBSERVATIONS <br />Overall, the site appears to be in compliance with the current contract and <br />mining plan. Some trash noted in previous inspections is still present in the <br />GENERAL COMPLIANCE <br />NE corner of the site. There is a_ lso some trash entrance side of equipment <br />store yard. <br />The road has been widened. All of the right of way has been fenced. The <br />gate has been installed near the road. A road was noted along the northern <br />edge to allow for topsoil /fill dirt to be stockpiled. In the last inspection it <br />SITE DEVELOPMENT <br />was stated that Shane plans to clear a 30ft road along the inside of the <br />Ln <br />fence all the way around the pit. Over the life of the mine, he plans to bring <br />Q <br />in topsoil and fill dirt to be used on and off site. <br />N <br />z <br />g <br />He has been mining the pit for a large contract of 1 % inch for Poncho <br />Springs substation. He has approximately 12000 tons of %2 or % inch <br />p <br />material left. He may have some contracts coming in soon with Pioneer. <br />a <br />Blasting will be needed to remove some hard material from the pit soon. <br />OPERATIONAL PHASE <br />The mining direction at the moment is south and east. Long term mining <br />U <br />plan will mine some material further to the north (where topsoil is J <br />LU <br />presently stockpiled) and more to the east. <br />o�S <br />w <br />? <br />No reclamation has been conducted since the last visit. Nor is any planned <br />2 <br />RECLAMATION STATUS <br />in the short term. <br />(TOPSOIL, ROADS, ETC.) <br />The site is sloped into the pit and the pit floor is collecting stormwater. <br />EROSION/ SEDIMENTATION <br />No blasting has been conducted but will be needed for future mining — <br />EXPLOSIVES <br />likely to occur in the next year. <br />No issues with safety were observed. <br />SAFETY <br />ENGINEERING/ GEOLOGIC & STABILITY <br />The site did not appear to have any engineering or stability issues. <br />CONDITIONS <br />The site appears to be in compliance with all state and federal <br />OTHER LOCAL/ STATE/ FEDERAL REQ. & <br />requirements. <br />COMPLIANCE <br />
