DETAILED SITE INSPECTION OBSERVATIONS
Contract expired in 2005 but did not close due to intended future mining
and reclamation is not complete. Overall good housekeeping. The use of explosives is not likely for this
z
EXPLOSIVES
type of operation.
There does not appear to be any safety issues. There are a few highwalls of
12 -20 feet which have piles of dirt at the top — possibly considered
SAFETY
berming. The road is overgrown and does not show evidence of regular use
so trespassing does not seem to be a problem.
ENGINEERING/ GEOLOGIC & STABILITY
The area appears to be stable.
CONDITIONS
The DRMS sign is posted near the pit.
