THE NEW CACHE LA POUDRE IRRIGATING COMPANY <br />THE CACHE LA POUDRE RESERVOIR COMPANY <br />February 25, 2015 <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />To whom it may concern: <br />(970) 352 -0222 <br />Enclosed you find a Construction Material Regular (112) Operation Reclamation Permit Application from <br />the New Cache La Poudre Irrigating Company ( NCLPIC). The NCLPIC is constructing a 9.13 acre <br />agricultural pond located in unincorporated Weld County (SW4, Section 6, Township 5 North, Range 64 <br />West, 6th P.M; Lot B of Recorded Exemption No. 0963 -6 -3 RECX 14- 0049). <br />Current owner of property is Wagistics, LLC, but it is under contract to be sold to the NCLPIC on April 17, <br />2015. <br />The pond is located on an agricultural zoned property— no land use permits are required from Weld <br />County. The current land use is pastureland; final land use will be developed water resources <br />(agricultural pond). Total expected land to be disturbed is 16.2 acres, producing approximately 120,000 <br />yards of mined materials, including dirt, gravel, and top soil, which will be used as fill in road <br />construction, in oil and gas development, and in feedlot surface management. Mining of materials will <br />include typical excavation equipment, such as scrapers, track hose, and loaders. There will be no on -site <br />processing.
