Hays <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />RE: Letter from Colorado Division of Water Resources <br />Dear Mr. Hays, <br />FEB 2J?0 n <br />[Mwiiibn of Reclai nation, <br />Mining & Safety <br />Pine Bluffs Gravel and Excavating Inc. is in receipt of the letter from Colorado Division of Water Resources addressing the <br />conversion of the Harms Pit from a 110 Permit to a 112 Permit and in accordance with the conditions for approval Pine Bluffs Gravel <br />does not anticipate exposing groundwater during or after the mining operation, staying a minimum of two feet above the groundwater <br />table. Furthermore we will be obtaining a limited amount of water from the Harms Well to be used during the mining process and <br />attached is the legal and binding water agreement for the water usage. <br />Per page 10 in our application storm water runoff will not be diverted or intercepted by constructed impoundments. Any water <br />encountered in the mining process will drain back to the mined areas.
