Project Number: 74201125NO <br />Project: Squaw Gulch Valley Leach Fill (VLF) Week Ending: February 14, 2015 <br />Location: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine, CO <br />Contractor: Ames Construction, Inc. <br />Reporting Period: 2.8.2015 through 2.14.2015 <br />Ambient Temperature Ranges During Week Weather Conditions During Week: <br />Highs: 39 °F to 55 °F Cloud Cover: Clear to Overcast <br />Lows: 19 °F to 34 °F Precipitation: Snow <br />Wind: Variable <br />Ames: Continuing construction tasks for the Valley Leach Facility (VLF). <br />Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />1) Earthworks <br />A) VLF (PSSA, Phase 1, and 2) <br />Topsoil /Overburden Stripping: <br />Topsoil was stripped downslope of the Phase 2 Diversion Channel stations 20 +00 to 28 +00 and <br />N0 +00 to N2 +00 in the Phase 2 area and hauled to the Area 34 topsoil stockpile. Topsoil haul <br />complete. Will continue grading stockpile 34 to maximum 2:1 grade. <br />Tree Grubbing and Clearing, Chipping: Slash was hauled upslope of Phase 2 Diversion <br />Channel station 28 +00 outside of the Phase 2 limits. Timbers were hauled to the public access <br />area completing the Phase 2 tree removal. <br />Production Drilling: Drilling occurred at the Anaconda Mine Complex. <br />Production Blasting: Blasting occurred at the Anaconda Mine Complex. <br />Structural Fill: <br />An Amec Foster Wheeler field professional monitored fill material temperatures during fill <br />placement; average structural fill temperatures were above 32 °F. Snow was removed from areas <br />prior to fill placement.
