EXHIBIT C:
MINING PLAN
This mining plan is for a proposed mining operation known as the Iron & Wm. Richardson Lode
Claims in Gilpin County, Colorado, 0.4 miles east off Co. Rd. 279 on Druid Mine Road.
Nevadaville Encore, LLC, P. O. Box 1442, Central City, CO 80427, (303) 681 -1111, attaches
this plan as "Exhibit C" for a Limited Impact (I IOd) Operation Reclamation Permit Application
No. M- 2014 -066 with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety.
Production mining will commence on or about March 1 -15, 2015 but only after approval of the
(1 IOd) permit application. Mining operations should be concluded by October 1, 2016. Initial
mining work will consist of removal of existing surface "dump" ore from historical mining of the
Iron and Wm. Richardson lode claims. Gold and silver are the primary metals produced. The
area of anticipated disturbance is within the easternmost 500 feet of the Richardson. A total
0.574 acre is the area requiring bonding. The Richardson area is completely covered by part of
an existing mine dump. The Druid Road and a nearby Xcel Energy power line are the only
permanent man-made structures on or within 200 feet of the proposed mine site. XCEL Energy
has been notified of the proposed mining operation by certified mail; however, no response as to
the proposed mining/reclamation of the mine site has so far been received from them.
The anticipated maximum ore removal rate will be far less than 70,000 tons of ore per year. The
existing mine dump is estimated to contain a maximum of 8,000 tons of material to be
reprocessed. A rubber tired front -end loader and/or an excavator and a 12 -ton tandem -axle end
dump truck will be used to remove the ore once production is permitted and an adequate
reclamation bond is posted with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board.
No new roads will be created during the mining operation. Truck loading will take place only at
safe distances from Druid Mine Road. Impacts on local traffic will be minimal. Warning signs
and traffic control will be used as needed to protect the public. Dust and noise will be monitored
and suppressed as necessary for county ordinance compliance. Photos of current conditions at
the mine site are attached to this permit application.
Ore will be removed to minimize erosion. Silt fence will be installed prior to mining along the
down -slope side of the disturbed area to control potential sediment and to provide for the return
of storm water, after the removal of sediment, to the watershed within 72 hours. Wattles will be
used at the up -slope edge of the disturbed area to reduce run -on of stormwater. The existing
dump will be mined from the lowest edge, i.e., the northeast, toward the southwest corner.
Trucks will be loaded on the surface of the unmined existing dump so that any spillage that may
occur occurs on the portion of the land to be reclaimed.
The existing mined material will be processed at the Federal Mill, United States Mine Safety and
Health Administration (MSHA) Mine ID No. 0504994. Our agreement with the Federal Mill
requires that all waste produced from the process is to be transported to a CDPHE permitted
solid waste disposal facility. A TCLP for the waste characterization for each mine is required for
the land fill before disposal of the waste. The process that the Federal Mill uses is performed in
