The required fee of $514.00 (2 x $257) has been submitted (receipt nos. 3667697A and 3667697B). The original supply plan for Parker - Dersham Resource Was approved on July 31, 2008 and the original supply plan for Baseline Resource was approved on May 21, 2001. The combined SWSP was most recently approved in a letter dated December 19, 2013. Plan Operation This combined plan seeks to replace depletions resulting from mining operations at the Parker - Dersham Pit and the Baseline Pit. The depletions that result from mining operations during this SWSP approval period are evaporation, concrete batching, and dust suppression. The proposed replacement source is a water lease with the City of Aurora of fully consumable water, and an onsite Laramie -Fox Hills non - tributary well (Permit no. 64750 -F). The eastern portion of the Baseline Pit is encompassed by an existing slurry wall, and is known as Robert W. Walker Reservoir (WDID 0203358). The majority of the western portion of the Baseline Pit and the southern portion of the Parker - Dersham Pit is encompassed by an existing slurry wall, and is known as Kirby - Dersham Reservoir (WDID 0203386). These two slurry walls were approved by the State Engineers Office on July 2, 2010 and December 16, 2011, respectively. Water shall not be impounded in the reservoirs except pursuant to lawful diversions allowed by statute or decree. At all other times, all inflow of water into the reservoirs from any source, including precipitation and ground water inflows, shall be removed by the applicant. The water may be removed from within the lined area and returned to the stream system through surface flow or ground water recharge without need for replacement, so long as the operator does not put the water to beneficial use.
