Fe0m <br />9711e_� a1'It, y 0-1c, /4)6�04e_ <br />February 12, 2015 <br />Elliott Russell `D <br />Re: Arthur -Mae Gravel Pit, Permit No. M- 2014 -068, Construction Materials Reclamation Permit <br />Applications, Adequacy Letter Response <br />Dear Mr. Russell, <br />Please find the enclosed corrections and additions adequate to the rules. <br />In regards to statements 1 and 2 of the adequacy letter, I mailed the certified mail receipts and proof of <br />publication to the division on January 30, 2015. <br />6.3.3 Exhibit C — Mining Plan <br />In compliance with the rule 6.3.3(d), the thickness of the deposit to be mined is believed to be between <br />1 ft. and 5ft. <br />In compliance with rule 6.3.3(p), explosives will not be used in the mining or reclamation process. <br />The entrance coordinates for the "secondary" access off of County Road 47 is, N: deg 40 -min 34 -sec <br />39.95 and W: deg 102 -min 14 -sec 40.02. This entrance will be a driveway off of County Road 47 on to a <br />haul way to the mining area. If needed, the access road between the two mining areas will be a 20 ft. <br />passage way. <br />6.3.4 Exhibit D — Reclamation Plan <br />In the process of reclaiming the creek bed, the bottom of the creek will be graded as level as possible for <br />the flow of water through the site. <br />As part of the reclamation plan, by just cleaning the bottom of the creek bed, of loose gravel, <br />disturbances of the creek banks will be to a minimum. With the use of implementing slopes, dirt berms <br />and re- seeding, long -term erosion control should be sustained. <br />6.3.12 Exhibit L— Permanent Man -Made Structures <br />Included with this letter, please find the first page of the structure agreement between Mike Roll and <br />the City of Holyoke. Existing fences within the permit area. <br />
