Site 05
Remove plastic barrier from drill hole SF85 -03 and reseed
The single filled drill hole identified as SF85 -03 had approximately 10 x 10 feet of plastic
material surrounding it that prevented most vegetation from growing in the area. Two layers of
thick plastic were placed around this location at one time. I removed all the plastic fabric from
around the drill hole and reseeded with seed provided by Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. Grass mulch
material from nearby the site was added to soil surface after the seed has been raked in and
compacted. Small sticks and branches were also placed around this area after the seeding was
completed. This project was completed on December 21, 2014. The site location can be viewed
in Figure 1 and Table 1 lists its GPS coordinates. The seed mix used is listed in Table 2.
Before and after photographs are included in Figure 6a and 6b.
,yc...
a
' s
Figure 6a and 6b. Drill hole SF85 -03 had plastic fabric buried around the pipe The upper
photograph shows the site with the plastic exposed at one edge before removal. The bottom
photograph shows the same site after the plastic was removed and the site was seeded and
mulched on December 21, 2014.
7
-j
,yc...
a
' s
Figure 6a and 6b.
