Site 01
This subsidence area consisted of a crack and subsidence in the soil surface of less than 100 W.
The hole was filled in with large rocks on October 30, 2014 and then filled with soil collected
from a nearby road cut. After the rocks were covered with soil, the area was seeded with the
seed mix (Table 2). Seed was raked into soil, tamped, and then covered with nearby grass mulch
and pine sticks to help hold mulch in place. This work was finished on December 4, 2014.
o 6' ± s'V
Figure 2a and 2b.
2014.
-A
r r
4 '
1i ti .i 'r'.•M• i. r IL...A L•,
Oir
Photographs of area before and after repair was accomplished on October 30,
Site 02
This subsidence area was on a steep east - facing slope and consisted of holes and cracks less than
100 ft2. The holes and cracks were filled with rock and gravel from nearby and soils collected
from the base of a pine tree that had recently fallen over. The soils were then seeded and tamped
and then some grass mulch and leaves from nearby were applied to the reseeded soil. The seed
mix is listed in Table 2.
3
