APP vEp AS FORM:' <br />Assistant County Attomey <br />SPECIAL REVIEW <br />FINDINGS AND RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE PETITION OF <br />Carter Lake Enterprises, Inc. <br />The petition of Carter Lake Enterprises, Inc. for a Special Review to reopen an <br />existing stone quarry in the O-Open zone, upon the property described on Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto has been filed with the Board of County Commissioners of the County of <br />Larimer. The Larimer County Planning Commission on July 17, 1985 recommended <br />approval of the proposed use. <br />On August 26, 1985 in the County Board Hearing Room of _the Larimer County <br />Courthouse, Fort Collins, Colorado, the Board of County Commissioners conducted a <br />public hearing on the Special Review. The Board of County Commissioners having heard <br />the testimony and evidence adduced at said hearing and having considered and carefully <br />weighed the same now mattes the following findings: <br />1. The Special Review request to reopen an existing stone quarry upon the <br />property described on Exhibit "A" was advertised in a local newspaper of general <br />circulation as required by law. <br />2. The general characteristics of the property are as follows: <br />a. Location: 22 -6-70; south side of County Road 32C, <br />west of County Road 27, southwest of <br />Masonville <br />b. Area: 52 acres - one acre to be mined <br />C. Existing land use: Inactive Quarry <br />d. Surrounding land use <br />and zoning East: Agriculture (O -Open) <br />West: Vacant (O -Open) <br />North: Vacant (O -Open) <br />South: Quarry (O -Open) <br />
