It is about 50% Baller stony sandy loam and abo <br />outcrop. These soils are used for native g asses. <br />Included with this complex in mapping is about 20 percent Car ero soils <br />and areas of soils that are similar to the Baller soil but th t has a clayey <br />subsoil. The Carnero series consists of moderately deep, wel drained <br />soils. Permeability is moderately,slow, and the available wa�er capacity <br />is medium. Reaction is neutral. <br />Runoff is medium to rapid, and the hazard of water erosion is moderate to <br />severe. Deep hullies are in some areas. <br />This soil is suited to native grasses. Scattered stands of p aderosa pine <br />are in a few areas. <br />
