Refer <br />Manager, Environmental and Land Services <br />Aggregate Industries <br />West Central Region, Inc. <br />1687 Cole Boulevard, Suite 300 <br />Golden, CO 80401 <br />Re: Hazeltine Mine Permit No. M- 2004 -031 <br />Dear Mike, <br />After much thought of Aggregate's Industries letter dated January 14, 2015, my question is what <br />would it really cost for Aggregate Industries to fix the damage it has caused to my property, a fix <br />that is legitimate and not a smoke and mirror gimmick. If it is less than one million dollars to fix it, <br />then I would request that the Company fix the damage they've done without delay. If it is closer to <br />two million to fix it, then I would offer Aggregate Industries a 10% discount in that cost and sell <br />Aggregate Industries the property that it has been exclusively using for its benefit for many years. <br />It is my hope and prayer that the State, after 3 years, will do its job and not allow this violation to <br />continue on ... and on... and on... and on with no consequences, and that Aggregate Industries will <br />comply with State regulations and rectify the damage that it has caused. <br />This offer is made for purposes of settlement discussions and shall not be binding upon any parties <br />until such time as an agreement acceptable to all parties in their sole and absolute discretion is <br />reduced to writing and fully executed. <br />Our offer will remain open through February 4, 2015.
