the east so that they will blend with the area that was previously mined for the 110 gravel operation.
Some excess overburden may be used to fan out to the east and ensure that the area is suitable for its
post- mining use. All gold bearing gravel brought to the new plant site for processing will be washed
using jigs, sluices, shaking tables and spirals. The plant was built in 2012. There are no crushers in the
plant but a grizzly and screens may be used to remove large size rock before entering the plant. The new
plant is a fixed metal structure on a concrete foundation of 170 x 80' footprint. The southwest 2/3 of the
building will be 30 feet high and the northeast 1/3 of the building will be 40 feet high. The washed,
waste gravel material from the plant will be stockpiled using a 36" stacker from the plant. The gravel
will be taken by the gravel operator for sizing and sales. Any gravel material from the plant that is not
sold by the gravel operator will be backfilled into reclaimed areas on the site. The rendering below shows
the actual building's appearance on site when constructed.
Figure D -1 Mill Building to be constructed
This building will remain after reclamation as a horse barn for the residents of the site, in conjunction
with the approved residential land use of this area.
The mining and reclamation plans are very much related for this gold operation. Since the exact depth
and thickness of the gold bearing material is unknown throughout most of the south mining area, a
continuous plan for monitoring the amount of overburden removed and gold bearing material sent to the
plant so that there is enough backfill material available for the post - mining topography.
