PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Western Fuels- Colorado, A Limited Liability Company (WFC), P.O. Box 628, Nucla, <br />Colorado 81424, has filed with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, an <br />application for Technical Revision 65 (TR -65) to the New Horizon Mine Permit No. C- <br />1981 -008. <br />TR -65 proposes to add 2.83 acres of surface area to the permit area to encompass <br />reclamation and final closure of the BB Detour Road. The BB Detour Road is located <br />on the western boundary of the New Horizon Mine permit boundary on lands that lie <br />within Section 1, T46N, R16W, of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, Montrose County, <br />Colorado. The BB Detour Road will permanently be closed after WFC installs the BB <br />Road and it is approved and released by Montrose Country. The BB Road will be <br />located on the northern half of Section 1, T46N, R16W, of the New Mexico Principal <br />Meridian, Montrose County, Colorado. The affected land for the closure of the BB <br />Detour Road is owned by Slash M, LLC. <br />The New Horizon Mine office is located at 27646 West 5th Street, Nucla, CO 81424. <br />The permit area contains tracts of land located in Section 1, T46N, R16W; Section 6, <br />T46N, R15W; Section 31, T47N, R15W; Section 36, T47N, R16W, of the New Mexico <br />Principal Meridian, Montrose County, Colorado. In total, the New Horizon permit <br />boundary contains 827.44 acres more or less. <br />The above mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Nucla Quadrangle <br />map. <br />A copy of the complete technical revision application is available for public inspection at <br />the Montrose County Courthouse Annex, Nucla, Colorado. Any public or affected <br />landowners can request a public hearing; submit written comments, or objections, to the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203, Telephone (303) 866 -3567, in writing, within 30 days after the <br />publication of the this notice. Any public hearing that may be requested will be held in <br />the general locality of the New Horizon Mine. <br />
