The lower reach is modeled with a 22% slope, which is high for the overall reach <br />based on the topography map (some of the reach is this steep). This is conservative <br />for sizing riprap, but not so conservative when sizing the channel dimensions. This <br />will not likely be a problem given the 4-foot depth of channel that you propose (and <br />possibly have currently), but this modeling assumption should be explained. <br />Response: Colowyo has modified the text to state the model reflects maximum slope <br />conditions. Utilizing the approximate average slope (12.25 %) in the model does not require <br />increasing the width or depth of the currently constructed ditch. The existing ditch dimensions <br />are significantly larger than the minimum required, regardless of the slope utilized in the model. <br />4.
