The mining timetable for the gold operation is given below: <br />Mining Timetable - Gold Operation <br />Task # <br />Description <br />Time Needed <br />in months <br />1 <br />Strip Initial overburden from Cut 1 and place to the north- <br />east. Regrade this northeast area. <br />2.0 <br />2 <br />Mine Cut 1. Create new Ponds 3 and 4. <br />0.5 <br />3 <br />Mine Cut 2. Very little overburden. <br />1.0 <br />4 <br />Create 8' gravel berm along Highway 9 ROW <br />0.5 <br />5 <br />Create Ponds 1,2,3,4 on southwest corner of permit area <br />1.0 <br />6 <br />Strip overburden from Cut 3 and place in Cut 1. <br />1.5 <br />7 <br />Mine cuts 4 -48 stripping and replacing topsoil & overbur- <br />den in the previous cut. <br />64.5 <br />8 <br />Backfill last cut with gravel from Highway 9 berm <br />1.5 <br />9 <br />Remove all equipment from site <br />1.0 <br />10 <br />Seed, mulch and place tree saplings in remaining reclaimed <br />area <br />1.0 <br />TOTAL <br />74.5 <br />Since the operation will only be active for 6 -9 months per year, the full gold mining operation will <br />take approximately 12 -13 years, provided no new resource areas are identified, no plant expansion <br />occurs, or other unforeseen factors occur. <br />Alma Placer 1/15 17 <br />
