2.05.3 <br />4. Truck Dump <br />The truck dump will be incorporated into the haul road. There should not be any <br />significant disturbance associated with the truck dump. The facility associated <br />with the truck dump is the stacking conveyor. <br />5. Coal Stockpile <br />The coal will be stockpiled with a radial stacker. The facility associated with the <br />coal stockpile is the radial stacker conveyor. <br />6. Train Loading System <br />The train loading system is a structural steel building that will be located over the <br />rail loop. Facilities associated with the train loading system are the reclaim tunnel <br />and the loading conveyor. <br />7. Rail Loop and Spur Track <br />The disturbance associated with the rail loop and spur track is the main <br />disturbance anticipated for the project. The width of the disturbance relates to <br />the amount of cut or fill required for the rail grade. <br />(3) Mine Facilities <br />The surface facilities are located south of SH -6 & 50 north of 1 -70 and west of the <br />old Fruita refinery. The surface facilities consist of sediment control structures, <br />coal handling facilities, train loadout, rail and other related facilities. <br />(3)(a) Following is a discussion of the proposed mine facilities as shown on Map 16: <br />Truck Dump <br />The truck dump is a concrete and steel structure. The concrete structure is 60 <br />feet long, 12 feet wide and 20 feet deep. There is also a sump associated with <br />the truck dump station. The sump is an integral part of the truck dump. It is <br />about 3 feet long, 3 feet wide and 3 feet deep. <br />Conveyors <br />Coal is transferred to the radial stacker by the stacker conveyor. The 48 -inch <br />wide radial stacker conveyor places coal into the coal stockpile. A reclaim tunnel <br />Permit Application 2.05 -5 01/12 <br />
