The new policy, which was adopted by the Mined
Land Reclamation Board on September 24, 2014, required Operators to submit a Technical
Revision to address how tourist operations will be conducted separately from mining operations.
The Technical Revision was to be submitted to the Division on or before January 1, 2015. To
date, the Division has not received the required Technical Revision for the Phoenix Mine. In
order to avoid possible enforcement actions, please submit a Technical Revision no later than
February 15, 2015.
If you have any questions, please call me at (303)866 -3567 x8116.
Sincerely,
L -4 1—. --
Michael A.
