January 21, 2015 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine <br />JLE <br />No Name 94 pond was holding water and discharging. The primary spillway was clear and functional. The <br />emergency spillway was snow covered but appeared functional. The embankment was snow covered but appeared <br />stable. <br />No Name #5 pond was holding water and discharging. The embankment was snow covered but appeared stable. <br />The primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />Far East Buzzard Pond was dry and not discharging. The embankment appeared stable and the primary and <br />emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />Coyote Pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and the emergency <br />spillway was clear and functional. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The Molly Brown dragline was mining in the L -Pit area. <br />A truck and shovel crew was hauling spoil to the backfill benches to the south west of the draglines. <br />The Queen Anne dragline was mining in the K -Strike Pit. <br />The Baby Doe dragline appeared inactive at the time of the inspection. <br />The blast crew was drilling and preparing for a blast in the L -Pit. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />Parcel Z -AB -05 was observed. Several possible rills and gullies were observed during the Division's December <br />31, 2014 aerial inspection. These features were snow covered but did not seem as pronounced as in the December <br />31, 2014 inspection photographs. Trapper and Division should evaluate these features in the spring. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />Topsoil piles Al -08, G1 -03 and Al -09 were snow covered but appeared stable.
