IPP (4‘
CROSSFIRE AGGREGRATE. EXHIBIT HI IT E
SERVICES,LLC
The mine area will be reclaimed as grazing land and calving ground with minimal slopes and no
permanent hydrologic entrapment. Overburden will be used to shape final grade contours. Slopes are
to be reclaimed to a maximum of 3H:1V and the majority of the mining area is to be left with a minimal
slope promoting positive drainage to prevent ponding or storage of runoff. The access road will be left
in place for future access to the site. Approximate acreages are shown in Table El. All other evidence of
mining operations, structures, foundations, surface and sub-surface,are to be removed and all
disturbance will be restored with natural vegetation. The reclamation plan is in accordance with existing
pre-mining land use and surrounding land use.
The reclamation objective is to create stable topography and a biological community that can
sustain proposed post mining land use. To the extent feasible, the mined soil and excess fines will be
placed into stockpiles which can be easily moved to their permanent locations. Reclamation and roads
are designed and located for both mining and future post-mine use, including access to the site. Roads
and long-term mine processing areas are laid out in their final post-mine reclaimed configuration to
minimize reclamation work and costs.
TABLE El SUMMARY OF RECLAMATION AREAS Actions
Area l Characteristics ! All slopes are
to be reclaimed to a maximum of 3H:1V grade using overburden and topsoil stockpiled during mining
operations. Reclamation will be concurrent with mining. Stockpiling of overburden, topsoil, and
excavated material will be temporary and used almost immediately following mining. Scrapers, Dozers,
and compactors will be used to place the material along slopes to achieve final grade. Final reclamation
by capping with topsoil and re-vegetating will follow backfilling operations to minimize the amount of
disturbance at any one time.
Comparison of Land Use
Proposed post-mine use conforms to present and planned land use for the area. Official zoning
classification by the County for the site (Agricultural Ranching AR) will continue after mining is finished.
Private lands encompass and surround the project area. There are no State of Colorado or federal lands
or land use plans in the project area.
Prepared by Tegre Corp.
1199 Main Ave., Suite 101 }e I1
Durango, CO 81301
(970)828-1811
